Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen omhandler produksjon av karbon-nanomaterialer som f.eks. nanofibre (CNF), nanorør (CNT) med et eller flere lag og andre nanopartikler. Mer spesifikt omhandler oppfinnels en en metode for elektrolytisk produksjon av karbon-nanomaterialer som innbefatter en anode, en katode, hvor elektrolytten er et jordalkalihalogenid og/eller et alkali- halogenid, eller en blanding av disse, og hvor det sendes en elektrisk strøm gjennom elektrodene. Mengden oppløst oksygen i elektrolytten er minst 0,1 vekt %. Karbonkilden kan enten være en karbonanode eller CO2 gass.
