That is, the yaw angle θ
changes. This yaw angle θ is approximately ±15° with respect to the rotational direction of the magnetic disk 1.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the slider rail 4 is provided with a tapered portion 4a and a flat portion 4b in the longitudinal direction, and the side edge portion 5 of the slider rail 4 is For example, a large chamfer of about 45° was applied. For this reason, when the yaw angle θ increases, the flying height of the slider 2 rapidly decreases due to the chamfered portion described above, making it easier for the magnetic disk 1 and the slider 2 to come into contact with each other, and in the worst case, the slider 2 crashed and destroyed the storage surface of the magnetic disk 1.

以下本発明の実施例を図面を参照して説明する。 Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

次に上述した本発明の磁気ヘッドの動作を説明する。Next, the operation of the above-described magnetic head of the present invention will be explained.

However, in the present invention, the step portion 6 functions as a run-up section for increasing the pressure of air flowing in from the side surface of the slider 2. Therefore, it is possible to generate the same pressure as in the case without a yaw angle, and to prevent a reduction in the flying height of the slider 2.
