Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the variation in the traction force of an electric motor vehicle at the time of switching a frequency by temporarily reducing a chopper current flow rate at the time of switching the chopper frequency when a chopper current flow rate or counterelectromotive force of a main motor or a vehicle speed reaches a set value. CONSTITUTION:A current flow rate detector 11 detects a current flow rate alpha or a current flow rate command, then detects that the currnt flow rate of a starting frequency f1 becomes double of the minimum current flow rate and produces a signal of logic level ''1''. When an AND circuit receives the output signal of the detector 11, a power drive command S1 and a gate start command S2, a frequency switching circuit 13 switches the frequency of a control system from f1 to f2. Simultaneously, a one shot circuit 14 produces a one shot signal with the output signal from the AND circuit 12. A minimum current flow rate instructing circuit 15 operates during the one shot signal and sets the minimum current flow rate state of the frequency f2.
