Abstract

PURPOSE:To furnish an inserting body of a throwaway tip with elastic force so that said body can be fitted firmly to a cutting tool holder by providing a main body of the inserting body of a throwaway tip with one groove or more. CONSTITUTION:A grooved and round inserting body 1, a little opened due to a groove 2 provided on it, is inserted into a hollow part of a round chessman like throwaway tip 3 in such a condition as it is constrained to interior walls 4 of said hollow part of the throwaway tip 3 and compressed. As a result, restoring force is produced in the inserting body 1 to return to its original shape and causes the body 1 except its groove 2 part to adhere closely to the inner walls 4 of said hollow part of the throwaway tip 3. Thus, the inserting body 1 is firmly inserted.
