Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to make certain of a quick feed direction and obtain a reproduced picture with high quality, by executing a forward reproduction or a backward reproduction to a medium, at the time of quick feed reproduction of a disk information recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Among signals which have been output from the disk 1 by means of a reproduction stylus 2, a main information signal is supplied to the demodulating circuit 4, and tracking signals fP3, fP2, fP1 are supplied to the BPF's 5-7, respectively. An error signal is formed 15 by use of each tracking signal, and tracking deviation of the reproduction stylus 2 is corrected. And, at the time of forward reproduction, the reproduction stylus 2 is forcibly shifted by one track portion in the inside circumferential direction whenever the vertical blanking periods (a)-(d) on the disk 1 are reproduced, and its scanning locus becomes a full line shown in the figure A, also at the time of backward reproduction, the reproduction stylus 2 is kicked in the outside circumferential direction, and its scanning locus becomes a full line shown in the figure B. As a result, since a part of each track is reproduced without fail, a picture consisting of perfect information can be obtained, and the reproduction direction can also be discriminated.
