Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the floor material which is superior in walking feel and design characteristic by affixing the paper or synthetic resin sheet printed with desired patterns onto a substrate and so coating the surface thereof as to form convex patterns by way of a silk screen.
CONSTITUTION: Paper or synthetic resin sheet printed on with desired patterns is affixed onto a floor material substrate composed of plywood, plaster board or the like and clear for surface protection is coated thereon. The clear is desirably the one comprising mixing abrasion resistant material of about 10W100μ in grain size, such as alumina or silicon carbide at 5W30% to a radiation-curable resin component. Thence, screen-permeable paint comprising adding a thixotropic agent to the material of the same quality as that of the foreging clear is die-coated thereon by way of the silk screen provided with the meshes which conform to the printing patterns or permit depiction of new patterns. By this method, the patterns having high stereoscopic feel are formed.
