Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain good characteristics in the full speed range even when used in a variable load speed field where load is decreased with decreasing speed by heating current collecting portion by resistor connected to between secondary voltage terminals.
CONSTITUTION: The secondary winding 2 is connected with the variable resistor 3 for regulating speed and also with the resistor 5 inside the collector, and current collection is made by the blush by means of the slip spring 4. Accordingly, as speed falls and load is decreased, the heat produced in the resistor 5 is increased, so that the ambient temperature of the current collecting portion is raised even if the secondary current is reduced by the decrease of load and the blush 7 becomes below current density range. Thus, good characteristics can be obtained even in cases where it is used in a variable load speed field where load is decreased with decreasing speed such as double torque characteristic load.
