(57)【要約】 【目的】 運転状況表示器の取付姿勢がバックミラーの
向き調整により影響を受けないようにする。 【構成】 運転席前方に位置して自動車の運転状況をフ
ロントガラスを透して視認可能に点灯表示する運転状況
表示部６を構成した運転状況表示器１を車室内に固設す
る。バックミラー２は直接運転状況表示器１に対して、
叉はその運転状況表示器１を固設している支持アーム３
に対して、自在継手構造４を介して枢設支持し、角度調
節可能になることを特徴とする。

Description

【考案の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】
本考案は自動車における運転状況表示技術とその装置の取付技術に係る運転状 況表示器付きバックミラーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来より走行中の自動車の速度を対向車叉は歩行者が知る構造のものとしては 、トラックのフード前面に複数のランプを取り付け、例えば速度が２０ｋｍ／ｈ ごとに一個づつランプを点灯するようになるものが構成されているが、乗用車を 含む他の一般車両にはこの種の技術は殆どされていないのが実状である。このた め本願の出願人は先に運転席に設けられるバックミラーの裏面（車両前方から視 認できる面）に運転状況表示面を備えた構造のものを提案した。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記構成によるとバックミラーを適正使用角度に調節すると運転状況 表示面が傾いてしまい、殊に対向車位置からは運転状況表示面が反対側に傾いて しまう問題を有していた。
【０００４】 本考案は上記問題に鑑みてなされたものであり、運転席の前方室内に設けるバ ックミラーの背方にフロントガラスを透して視認することができる運転状況表示 器を構成すると共に、該運転状況表示器の取付姿勢がバックミラーの向き調整に より影響を受けないようにした運転状況表示器付きバックミラーを提供すること を目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案に係る運転状況表示器付きバックミラーは、運転席前方に位置して自動 車の運転状況をフロントガラスを透して視認可能に点灯表示する運転状況表示部 を構成した運転表示器を車室内に設けると共に、該運転表示器に対してバックミ ラーを自在継手構造を介して角度調節可能に枢設支持したことを要旨とするもの である。 また上記運転状況表示器は、自動車の速度計と連動し予め設定した速度範囲にお いて特定の支持部を選択点灯する速度表示灯、自動車の旋回灯と連動して点灯す る旋回方向表示灯、及び自動車の制動灯と連動して点灯する制動表示灯の少なく とも二つ以上の組合せであることが好ましい。

【作用】
上記構成によれば、バックミラーが運転席の前方に固設した運転状況表示器に 対して自在継手構造を介して連結支承してあるため、運転状況表示器の向きを変 えることなくバックミラーの角度を調節することができる。従って、運転状況表 示器は常時初期設定姿勢を保持し、運転状況表示部が適正方向を維持するため、 前方からの視認性が確保できる。

【実施例】
以下、本考案に係る運転状況表示器付きバックミラーの実施例を図面に従って 説明する。 図１及至図４は第一の実施例を示すものであり、符号１は支持アーム３の端部に 固設した運転状況表示器であり、該支持アーム３端部に形成した自在継手構造４ を介してバックミラー２を枢設してなる。上記運転状況表示器１は合成樹脂によ って成形した横長矩形の偏平な器筺５に収容され、該器筺５の背面（フロントガ ラスを透して見える面）に運転状況表示部６を構成すると共に、上記支持アーム ３は器筺５の正面側上端から突設し、上端に自動車の運転席天井部シャーシに固 定するマウント部７を構成するもので、支持アーム３を所定位置に固設したとき 運転状況表示部６が車両前方に向くようになる。またバックミラー２は合成樹脂 によって成形した横長矩形の偏平な器筺８の前面に固設してあり、該器筺８の背 面に突設した取付マウント９の球状凹部１０に上記支持アーム３の下端部に分岐 突設した球状突起１１を適宜摺動抵抗をもってユニバーサル嵌合し、ミラー面を 適正に角度調節可能に支持してなる。
【０００８】 上記運転状況表示部６は、高速と低速の速度表示部１２と、左右の旋回表示部 １３及び制動表示部１４によって構成してあり、それぞれ器筺５の内腔を区画し た灯室１５，１５…を形成すると共に、各灯室１５に点灯バルブ１６ａ，１６ｂ ，１６ｃ，１６ｄ，１６ｅを設け、その前面を後述するフィルタレンズによって 覆ってなる。
【０００９】 各表示部とフィルタレンズの組み合わせ例 表示部 フィルタレンズ 点灯バルブ 速度表示部１２（高速） …黄色フィルタレンズ１７ …点灯バルブ１６ａ 速度表示部１２（低速） …青色フィルタレンズ１８ …点灯バルブ１６ｂ 旋回表示部１３（右） …右矢印フィルタレンズ１９ …点灯バルブ１６ｃ 旋回表示部１３（左） …左矢印フィルタレンズ２０ …点灯バルブ１６ｄ 制動表示部１４ …赤色フィルタレンズ２１ …点灯バルブ１６ｅ
【００１０】 叉、上記各灯室１５の点灯バルブ１６ａ，１６ｂ，１６ｃ，１６ｄ，１６ｅは 、前記支持アーム３のハーネス孔２２を介して導入した導線ケーブル２３と接続 してあり、速度表示部１２，１２の点灯バルブ１６ａ，１６ｂは自動車側Ａの速 度計出力３０とコントローラ３１を介して接続してあり、該コントローラ３１の 比較器３２に入力した速度信号によって、０〜５０ｋｍ／ｈの範囲では低速側ス イッチ回路３３ｂを「ＯＮ」して青色フィルタレンズ１８が設けてある低速側の 速度表示部１２の点灯バルブ１６ｂを点灯駆動する。また５０ｋｍ／ｈを越える 範囲では高速側スイッチ回路３３ａを「ＯＮ」して黄色フィルタレンズ１７が設 けてある高速側の表示部１２の点灯バルブ１６ａを点灯駆動する。
【００１１】 前記右及び左方向の旋回表示部１３，１３に設けた点灯バルブ１６ｃ，１６ｄ は、自動車側Ａの旋回灯と並列接続するもので、右旋回灯出力３４と右矢印フィ ルタレンズ１９を備えた右旋回表示部１３の点灯バルブ１６ｃ、左旋回灯出力３ ５と左矢印フィルタレンズ２０を備えた左旋回表示部１３の点灯バルブ１６ｄを 導線ケーブル２３によって接続してなる。
【００１２】 更に制動表示部１４に設けた点灯バルブ１６ｅは、自動車側Ａの制動灯と並列 接続するもので、制動灯出力３６と赤色フィルタレンズ２１を備えた点灯バルブ １６ｅを導線ケーブル２３によって接続してなる。
【００１３】 上記構成の運転状況表示器付きバックミラーは、自動車のフロントガラスを透 して器筺５の背面に構成した運転状況表示部６を車両前方から視認することがで き、速度、旋回及び制動の運転状況を選択点灯によって表示し、フィルタ色及び 矢印表示によって的確に告知するようになる。 尚、上記実施例では速度表示部１２を高速と低速の二段階に分けたものを示した が、該区分は更に多くの段階に分けて表示することもできるばかりでなく、速度 そのものをデジタル表示することができることは言うまでもない。
【００１４】 次に図５及び図６は本考案の他の実施例を示すものであり、前記第一の実施例 と構成が同一の部分は同一符号を付して説明を省略する。 本実施例では、支持アーム３は運転表示器１の器筺５の上端から突設してあり、 バックミラー２は運転表示器１の器筺５に対して自在継手構造４を介して直接枢 着支承してなる。該自在継手構造４は、運転表示器１の器筺５正面側に突設した 球状突起１１をバックミラー２の器筺８背面に構成した取付マウント９の球状凹 部１０に嵌合した構造になるもので、該球状凹部１０には軸心を含む水平方向の 刷り割２４を構成し、該刷り割２４を横断する方向に締結螺子２５を螺合してな る。従って、バックミラー２の角度を決めた状態で該締結螺子２５を緊締するこ とにより自在継手構造４を固定し、バックミラー２を支承保持してなる。 尚、前記実施例の説明の自在継手構造４では、バックミラー２側に球状凹部１ ０、運転状況表示器１または支持アーム３側に球状突起１１を構成したものを示 したが、該両構造の構成側を逆にしても同様に実施することができることは言う までもない。

【考案の効果】
以上述べたように本考案に係る運転状況表示器付きバックミラーは、バックミ ラーと運転状況表示器を自在継手構造を介して連結したことにより、バックミラ ーの角度を調節しても運転状況表示器の姿勢が変わってしまうようなことがなく 、前方からの視認性が確保できる特徴を有するものであり、本考案実施後の実用 的効果は極めて大きい。

Claims (5)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】運転席前方に位置して自動車の運転状況を
    フロントガラスを透して視認可能に点灯表示する運転状
    況表示部を構成した運転表示器を車室内に設けると共
    に、該運転表示器に対してバックミラーを自在継手構造
    を介して角度調節可能に枢設支持したことを特徴とする
    運転状況表示器付きバックミラー。
  2. 【請求項２】運転状況表示器が自動車の速度計と連動
    し、予め設定した速度範囲において特定の支持部を選択
    点灯する速度表示灯であることを特徴とする請求項１記
    載の運転状況表示器付きバックミラー。
  3. 【請求項３】運転状況表示器が旋回灯と連動して点灯す
    る旋回方向表示灯であることを特徴とする請求項１記載
    の運転状況表示器付きバックミラー。
  4. 【請求項４】運転状況表示器が自動車の制動灯と連動し
    て点灯する制動表示灯であることを特徴とする請求項１
    記載の運転状況表示器付きバックミラー。
  5. 【請求項５】運転状況表示器が自動車の速度計と連動し
    予め設定した速度範囲において特定の支持部を選択点灯
    する速度表示灯、自動車の旋回灯と連動して点灯する旋
    回方向表示灯、及び自動車の制動灯と連動して点灯する
    制動表示灯の少なくとも二つ以上の組合せであることを
    特徴とする請求項１記載の運転状況表示器付きバックミ
    ラー。
