Abstract

Preparations for destruction of weeds comprise an ester of an arylcarbamic acid in admixture with a solid diluent or dispersed but not in solution in a liquid diluent. Methyl, ethyl, propyl, allyl or B-chloroethyl esters or phenylcarbamic acid are suitable compounds and may be dispersed in water with the aid of agents such as butylated naphthalene sulphonic acid, or goulac or mixed with clay, sand, or talc, or with a fertilizer such as hydrated lime, ammonium sulphate, basic slag or peat.
