Abstract

573,890. Pipe couplings. TECALEMIT, Ltd., and LE CLAIR, C. C. S. Dec. 24, 1943, No. 21623: [Class 99 (i)] A lubricant nozzle adapted to be engaged by transverse movement with a flanged nipple 31 comprises a body part 2 having a lateral inlet 3 and a clip member which surrounds the body part and is secured thereto by lugs 8, 9 on a seating disc 7 engaging slots in the clip member, the disc fitting a recess in the end face of the body. The flange 30 of the nipple engages between the disc 7 and the flanges 14A, 15A of the clip and is engaged by a nipple portion 22 of a spring-urged cup-washer 21 retained by the disc 7. Curved parts 19A, 20A of'the clip flanges form a limit stop for the nipple.
