7426. Schwarzhaupt, A. April 8, 1904, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Oil stoves. - An annular hot-air chamber 11, in which confined air is highly heated, surrounds the chimney 9 of a petroleum stove, b e i n g separated from the combustion chamber 12 by a partition 10, and from the atmosphere by a partition 13. The burner 2 in the base of the stove is supplied with air through a tube 4 inside the wick 3, and holes 6, 7, 8. For increasing the heating-surface, the chimney may be provided with undulations or projections.
