Hot air hand dryer

The innovation concerns a warm air hand dryer according to the generic term of claim 1.

Such warm air hand dryers have become known in the way that/3 a corresponding housing with a built-in fan 0 and heating device is usually arranged on the wall in a toilet room, whereby the user can dry his hands in the exhaust air flow of this fan.

The disadvantage here is that the warm air hand dryer is always located in a different place in the toilet room than the water outlet fitting used to wash hands.

The innovation is therefore based on the task of developing a warm air hand dryer of the type mentioned above in such a way that it can be positioned as close as possible to the water outlet fitting.

To solve the problem, the innovation through the technical teaching of the characterizing part of

Claim 1 is characterized.

The key feature of the innovation is that the hot air hand dryer now essentially has the shape of a water outlet fitting and is positioned next to, above or in front of a water outlet fitting directly on the washbasin.

This offers the significant advantage that the hot air hand dryer can be positioned directly next to the water outlet fitting, thus providing the shortest possible route for the hands to be dried from the water outlet fitting to the hot air hand dryer.

In this case, it is preferred if the blower with heating device is arranged below the washbasin on the hot air hand dryer designed as a tube, and the nozzle for the outlet of the hot air is arranged at the upper end of the hot air hand dryer, pointing diagonally forwards or downwards.

It can be provided that the fan and the heating device are controlled by a sensor, but this is not necessary for the solution. 25

Instead of a sensor located at the front end of the hot air hand dryer, a switch that can be operated on all three sides can also be installed.

The subject matter of the present innovation arises not only from the subject matter of the individual protection claims, but also from the combination of the individual protection claims with one another.

The warm air hand dryer 1 essentially consists of a pipe which consists of two pipe sections 2, 3, of which a straight pipe section 2 is led downwards through the wash basin 4 and to this pipe section 2 is connected a pipe section 3 which is bent diagonally forwards and which has at its front end a nozzle 5 which is directed diagonally downwards forwards for the outflow of warm air.

A sensor 6 can be arranged in the front area, the detection area of which is preferably directed downwards in order to determine whether the hand to be dried is in the outflow area of the nozzle 5.

At the other end of the pipe section 2, below the wash basin 4, the blower 7 is arranged, which in a manner known per se has a blade 8 driven by a motor 9, behind which a heating device 11 is arranged.

The air flow 10 to be heated is sucked in from below via the intake opening 12 and guided by the wing 8 via the heating device 11 into the pipe sections 2,3 05, where the heated air flow brushes the hand to be dried via the nozzle 5.

The subject of the innovation makes it possible to install a hot air hand dryer directly next to the water

10 outlet fitting so that there is a very short path from the water outlet fitting to the hot air hand dryer.

This also avoids annoying drip marks on the floor between the washbasin and the warm air hand dryer.

Warm air hand dryer with a blower and a heating device for the supplied air, whereby the warm air hand dryer is arranged next to, above or in front of a water outlet fitting directly on the washstand, characterized in that the warm air hand dryer (1) essentially has the shape of a water outlet fitting and that the associated blower (7) with the heating device (11) is arranged below the washstand (4). 10-011/ - 2 - 2.
