Abstract
The invention discloses an automobile B-pillar upper connecting structure which comprises an automobile body covering part, a B-pillar inner plate and a B-pillar upper connecting piece, wherein the automobile body covering part and the B-pillar inner plate are mutually attached and connected, and the middle parts of the automobile body covering part and the B-pillar inner plate are sunken towards the direction far away from each other to form a reinforcing cavity; a B-column reinforcing plate and a B-column upper hinge reinforcing plate are arranged in the reinforcing cavity, two ends of the B-column reinforcing plate are connected between the connection part of the vehicle body covering part and the B-column inner plate, and the B-column reinforcing plate is sunken towards the direction of the vehicle body covering part; the B-pillar upper hinge reinforcing plate is arranged in a groove of the B-pillar reinforcing plate; the B-column upper connecting piece is arranged between the B-column inner plate and the B-column reinforcing plate, and two ends of the B-column upper connecting piece are connected between the joints of the B-column inner plate and the B-column reinforcing plate. The novel B-column upper connecting structure provided by the invention is characterized in that the problems of great increase of weight and cost caused by schemes of greatly increasing the material thickness of a B-column reinforcing plate 2, increasing or reinforcing a B-column upper hinge reinforcing plate 4 and the like aiming at easy bending and X-directional instability of the upper part of a B column are solved by newly adding the B-column upper connecting piece 5 and the connecting structure.

the B-column upper connecting piece (5) is arranged between the B-column inner plate (3) and the B-column reinforcing plate (2), and two ends of the B-column upper connecting piece are connected between the connection parts of the B-column inner plate (3) and the B-column reinforcing plate (2).

3. The vehicle B-pillar upper connection structure according to claim 2, wherein a gap is provided at a connection of both ends of the protrusion (51) with the B-pillar upper connection member (5) and the B-pillar inner panel (3).
4. The vehicle B-pillar upper connection structure according to claim 1, wherein the B-pillar upper connection member (5) is connected to the vehicle body cover (1), the B-pillar reinforcement panel (2), and the B-pillar inner panel (3) at their connection points by spot welding or laser welding.
5. The automobile B-pillar upper connecting structure according to claim 4, wherein the connecting part is provided with at least two rows of upper and lower welding spots or a laser welding seam length of 45 mm.
