Abstract

A scroll compressor capable of improving compressor performance by preventing delay in safety valve opening and reducing operating load, and capable of mass-producing a stable safety valve function, comprising a compression mechanism for compressing working fluid in a compression chamber (11) part, a closed container forming a discharge pressure chamber (2f) for discharging compressed working fluid. The fixed scroll (5) is equipped with a safety valve device (15) that opens a circuit to communicate between the compression chamber (11) and the discharge pressure chamber (2f) when the pressure of the compression chamber (11) rises above a set pressure. The safety valve device (15) has a release flow path (15i), a safety valve (15d) that can open and close the release flow path (15i), a valve pushing body (15h) that applies an elastic pushing force to the safety valve, and a limiter. bit register (16). The valve pressing body (15h) has an elastic part (15e) which is free when the safety valve closes the release flow path, and is compressed when the release flow path is opened.
