Ortaokul duzeyindeki ogrencilerin emniyet hizmetlerine yonelik algilarini belirlemeye calisan bu ... more Ortaokul duzeyindeki ogrencilerin emniyet hizmetlerine yonelik algilarini belirlemeye calisan bu arastirma Istanbul ili Uskudar ve Kadikoy ilcelerinde yurutulmustur. Sosyo-ekonomik olarak dusuk mahallelerde okullara giden ogrencilerden olusmaktadir. Arastirmanin verileri 2018-2019 egitim ogretim yilinda Istanbul ili Uskudar ve Kadikoy ilcelerinden ve devlet ortaokuluna devam eden ogrencilerden elde edilmistir. Calisma grubunu olusturan ortaokul ogrencilerinin 154'u (%44,0) erkek, 196'si (%56,0) kiz olmak uzere toplamda 350 ogrenci bulunmaktadir. Arastirma nicel arastirma olarak tasarlanmis ve degiskenlere iliskin betimsel bir calisma olarak gerceklestirilmistir. Arastirmanin bazi sonuclarina bakildiginda, arastirmaya katilan ogrencilerin “polis halk iliskisi ve iletisimi boyutu”, “polisin gorunurlugu”, “Toplum Destekli Polislik faaliyetlerinden haberdarlik” duzeyi, “polisin “TDP faaliyetlerinden beklentiler” duzeyi ve “polis algisi genel” duzeyi yuksek olarak saptanmistir. “Polisin davranis ozellikleri” duzeyinin ise orta derecede oldugu belirlenmistir. Kiz ogrencilerin Toplum Destekli Polislik faaliyetlerinden beklentilerinin erkek ogrencilere gore Toplum Destekli Polislik faaliyetlerinden beklentilerinin daha yuksek oldugu belirlenmistir. Polisin gorunur olmasinin ogrencilerin polis olma fikrini olumlu anlamda etkiledigi, polis olma fikrini tasiyan ogrencilerin polis algisi daha pozitiftir. Arastirmaya katilan ogrencilerin yarisindan fazlasi polis olma fikrini de tasimamaktadir. Vatandaslik egitimini de ilgilendiren bu konularda daha cesitli arastirmalar yapilabilir ve masumiyet caginda olan cocuk ve genclerin algilari ve beklentileri belirlenebilir. Belirlenen bu durumlar vatandaslik egitimi cercevesinde veya cocuk ve gencleri suctan ve zararli aliskanlik ve maddelerden korumak amaciyla kullanilabilir.
The aim of this study was to review the research which focused on ‘Reading Anxiety’ in Turkish la... more The aim of this study was to review the research which focused on ‘Reading Anxiety’ in Turkish language systematically. According to the questions derived from the aim, 16 papers were re-examined based on the rules of systematic review method. These papers were analysed in terms of their aims, designs, sampling and results. In addition to this, similarities and differences of the reviewed papers were discovered. It was seen that these studies were conducted with primary and middle school students. It was also found that the methodology of these reviewed studies was designed with quantitative approaches. The results of the review indicates that reading anxiety is related with reading comprehension, reading habit, reading fluency and reading motivation. Such factors as gender, parents’ income, having books and place of residence have relation with reading anxiety. The results gathered from reviewed papers suggest that studies designed with qualitative and mixed-method are needed. Addi...
The aim of this study is to examine the relations between the pre-service teachers’ self-percepti... more The aim of this study is to examine the relations between the pre-service teachers’ self-perception of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) and self-perception of web pedagogical content knowledge (WebPACK). On the respect of this aim, there has been constructed a structural equation model according to the literature reviews, and model was tested and examined for the goodness of fit indices. It is hoped that the findings of the study is going to give a general idea to the education implementers about the classroom applications of those variables; and lead the researchers about future studies. This research is a correlational survey model. The research group of this study was 453 education faculty students at the beginning of the research. Because of the assumptions of the applied statistical method, structural equation modeling, the number of research group decreased to 342. As data collection tools, WebPACK Scale which is adapted to Turkish by Horzum (2011) and TPACK Scale which is adapted to Turkish by Şahin (2011) were used. To examine the relations between the variables, before the main analysis of the structural equation modeling, the assumptions of the analysis were checked by using SPSS 20.0 computer program. After all the assumptions were met, the main analysis to evaluate the constructed model was done by using LISREL 8.7 computer program. Findings of the research shows that Tpack effects WebPack positively and Tpack explains 31% of the variance in WebPack. When Tpack and the path coefficients of other factors examines, the highest coefficient is found as .93 with the factor of technological content knowledge. When WebPack and the path coefficients of other factors examines, the highest coefficient is found as .87 with the factor of pedagogical web knowledge. In addition, all t-values belongs to path coefficients of the model were found as significant (p<.05), so there was no need to do any modification about the paths in the model. The modification indices of the model shows that the model has high goodness of fit indices. At the end of this study, the results show that in the area of education in order to increase the web pedagogic content knowledge perception of teacher candidates in a positive way, pre-service education need to be supported with more technology integrated pedagogical content knowledge courses.
