Key Achievements
My interests include public policy governance and decision-making, and evidence use in
these areas. Key achievements include regular peer-reviewed publications, applying
multiple social research methods across a range of policy topics, and developing national
and international collaborations in public policy and social network research. Outside
academic circles, I have managed user involvement projects with young people in public
health, worked on an international newspaper and worked as a methods and health policy
consultant. Through using formal research methods such as network analysis and social
epidemiology, I’m interested in evaluating the effects of policies at organizational and
population levels, and identifying elements including networks which moderate these
effects. Future aspirations are to lead academic work in this area internationally.
