Dr. Fadila Grine is currently the Director of Social & Family Affairs at the Department of Cultural, Social & Family Issues in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is a strong advocate of the significance of family and women in all fields of development. Her interests include women, family, elderly, youth, marriage, leadership and culture. Previously, while a Visiting Associate Professor to the Department of Islamic History and Civilization, University of Malaya, Malaysia, she served as Head of Research and also the Head the International Bureau of Consultancy and Training. Fadila obtained her Masters in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage from the International Islamic University, and her PhD in Islamic Culture and Civilization from the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. She published several papers throughout her field. Fadila is furthermore an accomplished life coach, as well as a consultant for marriage and family affairs. Fadila has worked as a cultural consultant with the Edmonton Public School Board of Alberta, Canada. She is a member of a number of international committees, boards and panels on women and family, and has engaged extensively with youth work and development. Fadila has moreover conducted a range of workshops and trainings on marriage, parenting, women in education, research and leadership, among many others.
