For n = 2, a(2) = 3 since the numbers obtained are (in base 3): 1, 2, 11.
For n = 4, they expand to a(5) = 11 numbers (in base 3): 1, 2, 11, 12, 21, 22, 101, 111, 112, 121, 211.
