COMMENTS
The astronomical unit (abbreviated as "au") is a unit of length equal to 149597870700 meters (approximately the Earth-Sun distance). This was unanimously decided on at the general assembly of the International Astronomical Union in Beijing, China (2012). For further information see link section.
To agree with the new definition, the sequence was changed in 2012. The earlier version of this sequence was (1, 4, 9, 5, 9, 7, 8, 7, 0, 6, 9, 1). - M. F. Hasler, Sep 18 2017
