WWE superstar Jeff Hardy arrested for public intoxication

Pro-wrestling superstar Jeff Hardy was busted for public intoxication at a beachfront hotel this weekend in South Carolina, according to authorities and reports.

The former WWE champion, 41, was nabbed without incident around 11:15 a.m. Saturday by cops responding to a report of an intoxicated man at the Ocean Enclave hotel in Myrtle Beach, according to The Sun News.

Public police records confirmed the arrest but offered no further details on Hardy’s boozy bust.

Hardy — who first rose to wrestling fame in the late ’90s alongside his brother, Matt, as the tag-team duo The Hardy Boyz — has been sidelined for the past few months as he rehabs a knee injury.

“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions,” said WWE in a statement to The Sun News.

Saturday’s arrest is not the first time Hardy has run afoul of the law.

In March 2018, he was charged with driving while impaired after his Cadillac veered off the road and slammed into a guardrail in his native North Carolina.
