Girl hit by soccer ball slashes kid who kicked it: cops

A young girl was accidentally hit in the head with a soccer ball in Brooklyn — and she retaliated by slashing the kid who kicked it, police said Tuesday.

The two 12-year-olds were playing soccer at 245 Franklin Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 6:30 p.m. Monday when the girl was struck with the ball.

“She chased him and caught up to him,” a police source said.

The boy raised his arm over his head believing she was going to strike him. He then felt a sharp pain in his forearm where she had cut him with an unknown object, cops said.

He was taken to Woodhull Hospital and required 17 stitches.

The girl was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
