Aaron Saguay-Gomez of Corona, Queens, ran up a nearly $75,000 tab before being nabbed driving his dump trunk through the Goethals Bridge toll on Staten Island around 4:15 p.m., authorities said.
Port Authority Police Department Officer Ed Benenati spotted Saguay-Gomez, 24, heading through an E-ZPass lane without any license plates on his truck and pulled him over, officials said.
That’s when authorities realized they’d gotten a big one: Saguay-Gomez allegedly owed more than $74,375 in outstanding tolls and fees.
Gomez is one of two principal owners for Sinai Trucking in Newark, NJ.
He was charged with obstructing governmental administration, petit larceny and a license plate violation. His 2017 Red Peterbilt commercial dump truck also was impounded.
He was facing arraignment in Staten Island Criminal Court.
