After scouting several New York City apartment buildings, Brooklyn Nets power forward Kris Humphries, who’s still tangled in divorce proceedings with Kim Kardashian, has settled on a rental at Liberty Luxe in Battery Park City.

The building on North End Avenue, which itself includes a gym with a spa, and its sister Liberty Green building sit atop the 60,000-square-foot Asphalt Green Battery Park City community center, which will house a basketball court, pool, fitness center and spa.

Humphries first looked at a $28,000-a-month, three-bedroom, 2,686-square-foot penthouse in the 32-story building, but he ended up opting for a smaller unit on a lower floor. Apartments at Liberty Luxe start at $3,350 a month for a studio, $4,000 for a one-bedroom, $6,000 for a two-bedroom and $8,995 for a three-bedroom.

Meanwhile, we hear that Humphries’ teammate Joe Johnson has found himself a 5,500-square-foot, two-bedroom loft on Murray Street for $25,000 a month through Town Residential.

Les is more

Leslie Alexander, owner of the Houston Rockets, is the buyer of the $42 million penthouse at 18 Gramercy Park. The five-bedroom duplex condo, in a new condo development from Arthur and William Lie Zeckendorf of 15 Central Park West fame, has four terraces and a pool.

Alexander’s broker, Melanie Lazenby of Prudential Douglas Elliman, declined to comment. She also helped Alexander sell his penthouse for $31.5 million at Superior Ink, which was then a record condo price for downtown Manhattan.

Hilton hunt

Nicky Hilton, with a mystery man (pictured) in tow now that her former fiancé, David Katzenberg, is out of the picture, is on a serious apartment hunt.

She recently stopped by a three-bedroom, 1,981-square-foot rental at the Laurel on East 67th Street that was listed for $16,000 a month. Listing broker Adam Rothman of Prudential Douglas Elliman declined to comment.

We hear that Hilton, clad smartly in a black and white dress and Chanel ballet flats, fit right in on the Upper East Side. But that didn’t stop her from also checking out a unit at the Yves Chelsea building on 18th Street. There are currently one-bedrooms for rent for $5,000 to $6,000 a month in the building.

Bouncing around

He’s the star of the Brooklyn Nets, with a new five-year contract worth about $100 million, and Deron Williams is looking for a home worthy of his baller status.

Williams was recently spotted checking out a $30,000-a-month rental at the Visionaire on Little West Street in Battery Park City. The four-bedroom, 3 1/2-bathroom apartment, which is also listed for sale at $10 million, is in an eco-friendly condo building and features floor-to-ceiling windows pre-wired for motorized solar shades, fresh-air filtration, sustainable wood floors, digital programmable thermostat controls and a chef’s kitchen with bamboo cabinets. Outside, there’s a 979-square-foot terrace with planted areas.

Melo out

Carmelo and La La Anthony only have a couple months left on the rental lease for their Hit Factory apartment at 421 W. 54th St. And that unit is back on the market, but only for sale with a $5.75 million asking price.

The luxurious four-bedroom, 3 1/2-bathroom corner duplex penthouse has 3,800 square feet of interior space and 1,100 square feet of outdoor space. The apartment features a chef’s kitchen and a double-height foyer with a skylight. There’s celebrity-friendly private parking in the condo building.

The building once housed a music studio where chart-toppers including the Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Madonna recorded.

Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Prince Dockery has the listing.

As we reported last week, La La Anthony was recently spotted checking out a penthouse rental on the Upper East Side.

The Sims: Hamptons

Model/actress and new mom Molly Sims and her movie producer husband, Scott Stuber, just bought a Hamptons house on Windsor Lane in Wainscott.

Sims who gave birth to her first child, Brooks Stuber, in June will have plenty of room in the 5,526-square-foot shingle-style mansion, which had an asking price of close to $5.5 million.

The house, near the ocean, has five bedrooms and six-plus bathrooms. It includes a big foyer, an open living/dining area, a chef’s kitchen with Wolf, Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances, a wine cellar, stone patios and an oversized pool.
