Tough-guy actor Gene Hackman was briefly hospitalized with bumps and bruises yesterday after he was hit by a pickup truck while riding his bike in the Florida Keys.
The 81-year-old Oscar winner wasn’t wearing a helmet when he was hit from behind and sent sprawling onto the grassy shoulder of an Islamorada street. Hackman was airlifted to a Miami hospital and released.
