A quack was arrested for illegally practicing medicine in Inwood, authorities said.

Marcelino Francisco, 53, wrote prescriptions and gave referrals to victims on two occasions, according to court papers.

Confronted by detectives, Francisco said he’d been a doctor in the Dominican Republic but had no license in New York, cops said.

When he was arrested Tuesday, Francisco was allegedly carrying a bag stuffed with medical equipment, including a stethoscope, blood-pressure meter, hypodermic needles and medications.

He was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

This arrest was served on a platter.

A hothead smashed a food tray across the face of a perfect stranger as the victim was walking in Jamaica, authorities said.

Alexander Patterson, 56, attacked the man on 89th Avenue near 160th Street at 4:50 p.m. Monday, according to court records.

The victim suffered a laceration to his left eye and bruises. He was rushed to local hospital, where he received five stitches.

Patterson was arrested the same day and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. It’s unclear what sparked the incident.

A masked gunman was collared after an armed robbery in Cambria Heights, authorities said.

Alexander Joyner, 34, and three cohorts confronted a man at gunpoint and forced him into his home on 229th Street near 116th Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Monday, according to court papers.

Joyner allegedly placed a jacket over the victim’s head, pistol-whipped him and snatched $300.

The thugs also bound the hands and feet of another man staying in the residence, cops said.

Joyner allegedly zoomed off in a black BMW, but was caught after he crashed into a guardrail nearby.

Police recovered latex gloves, a loaded gun and packing twine from the vehicle, cops added.

Joyner was charged with burglary, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, said a spokeswoman for DA Richard Brown, and was held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

That’s not how you do sex education!

A pervert exposed himself to a woman at Pratt Institute in Downtown Brooklyn, authorities said yesterday.

Christopher Reese, 43, was walking down a hallway in the school at around 11 a.m. Nov. 1, when he suddenly stopped outside a classroom and peeked inside, zeroing in on the victim, cops said.

He unzipped his pants, pleasured himself and fled, but was recorded on video surveillance leaving the building, cops added.

A witness was able to identify Reese from the video, leading to his arrest Tuesday on a charge of public lewdness.

A man who was brutally beaten in broad daylight on an East Flatbush street has died of his injuries, police said yesterday.

Cops responded to a 911 call of an assault in front of 219 E. 94th St. at 3:30 p.m. Sunday and found Joseph Muller, 21, with head trauma.

A group of thugs had pummeled Muller, as well as a 15-year-old boy who suffered bruises, cops said.

Both victims were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where Muller died Wednesday from his injuries. The case has been classified as a homicide. The teen was treated and released.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is continuing.

Two thugs were caught on video robbing a Bushwick electronics shop at gunpoint.

They were seen circling inside Broadway Computer Repairs at 1727 Broadway at 7:20 p.m. Monday before reaching into a display case and snatching goods. They then held a customer and clerk at gunpoint while grabbing cash from the register before fleeing, cops said.

A dough-brained burglar broke into a West Brighton pizza shop he frequented as a customer and stole $2,400, authorities said.

Arben Gjonbalaj, 23, allegedly used a metal pipe to pry open the metal gates of Pronto Pizza on Forest Avenue near North Burgher Avenue just past midnight on Oct. 20.

Once inside, he swiped a safe hidden behind a stack of pizza boxes and a cash-register drawer loaded with money, court papers claim.

Gjonbalaj, who often ate at the shop and knew the owner, was spied by a security camera, cops said.

He was arrested Wednesday on charges of burglary and grand larceny, said a spokesman for DA Dan Donovan.
