Anthony Carter, 23, of Brooklyn, is cooling his heels in jail after he hijacked his elderly client’s credit-card info to rent Zipcars and go on shopping sprees, law-enforcement sources said.

He was employed by an 82-year-old woman in her Manhattan apartment at 180 West End Ave. from April 22 to May 23, court records show.

During his employment, Carter took down numbers and other information from the woman’s Chase and American Express cards, and with the info illegally made online purchases at Best Buy, sources said.

He also allegedly used the info to rent Zipcars to travel to various retailers.

All told, Carter rang up 25 charges for more than $4,500 before the victim spotted the scam.

Carter was indicted Tuesday after his May 25 arrest.
