A punk with a knife has mugged at least five lower Manhattan women in the last three weeks, cops said yesterday.
On May 12, he took a 26-year-old’s wallet on 18th Street near Second Avenue at about 10:30 p.m., police said.
The next day, he allegedly grabbed a 27-year-old from behind on Second Avenue near Houston Street, covered her mouth and took her wallet.
On May 14, he allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat on Sixth Street near Third Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. and stole her cellphone.
Later that day, he tried to rob a 32-year-old on Lafayette Street near Bleecker Street but fled empty handed.
On May 15, he allegedly accosted a woman on Wall Street near Williams Street at 3 a.m. and snatched her cellphone.
Cops say he’s black, 30ish, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds.
