Horrifying stab threat

Stab you

A perp stole a man’s wallet from his pants on Bushwick Avenue on July 7 and then threatened to stab him.

The perp approached his victim near Scholes Street at 1:20 pm, and attempted to snatch his wallet from his rear pocket. When the victim turned around, the perp pushed him to the ground and said, “If you don’t give me your wallet, I’ll stab you.”

The victim gave up his wallet, which contained $135, and the perp fled.

Grocery grab

Two perps grabbed a man and stole his cash on July 6 while he was walking home from the grocery store on Leonard Avenue.

The perps approached the victim near Scholes Street at 6 pm. One grabbed him from behind while the other said, “Do not say anything, I don’t want to hurt you, give me all you have,” before rifling his pockets.

The perps took his phone and $30.

Moving pains

A thief stole a woman’s jewelry from a dresser that she was moving into her new S. Third Street apartment on June 30.

The thief snatched $5,250 worth of jewelry from a wooden box, which the victim had left unattended at around 3 pm inside the apartment near Roebling Street. An hour later, she discovered the jewelry was missing.

Jetta jolted

A thief stole a Volkswagen on Hooper Street on July 10.

The car was parked near S. Third Street at 1 am, but when the car’s owner returned five hours later, the spot was empty.

Triumph conquered

A thief stole a man’s motorcycle from a S. Third Street spot on July 10.

The motorcycle was parked near Bedford Avenue at 11 am. When its owner returned four hours later, he found it gone.

Laptop taken

A thief broke into a S. Fourth Street apartment on July 9 and stole a woman’s laptop.

The thief entered the apartment near Wythe Avenue sometime after 3 am, grabbing the computer and a cellphone before leaving through a rear window.

Light out

A thief broke into a Jeep on S. Fourth Street on July 9 and stole enough lighting equipment to make his own independent film.

The hoodlum broke into the car parked near Bedford Avenue after 9 am and stole $10,000 worth of lights, cables and camera lenses. The car’s owner discovered the crime two hours later.

Four on one

Four thugs held up a 13-year old boy on Lorimer Street on July 10, but when he refused to give him his money, they beat him instead.

The thugs approached the boy near Broadway at 2:40 pm, when one demanded, “Empty your pockets.” When he refused, they punched and kicked him.

Nail fight

A violent customer punched a Graham Avenue nail salon worker in her face with her freshly manicured hands, cracking the woman’s temple on June 19.

The fight broke out inside the beauty and nail salon near Seigel Street at around 6:15 pm, when the agitated customer punched her salon attendant in the face. She later discovered that her face was broken and pressed charges.

Laptop stolen

A thief broke into a Graham Avenue apartment on July 10 and stole a woman’s laptop.

The thief entered the apartment near Montrose Avenue after 8:30 pm, taking a computer and an iPod. When the tenant returned six hours later, she found her property was missing.
