Melina Kanakaredes is leaving “CSI: NY.”
“I made some amazing and lifelong friendships during my six seasons on ‘CSI: NY’ and I will treasure them forever!” Kanakaredes said in a statement.
Sources told the Hollywood Reporter that the actress’ contract was up. Sela Ward is said to be in consideration to replace Kanakaredes, who played Det. Stella Bonasera since the series premiered in 2004.
