The 15 live, spotted stars of “The 101 Dalmatians Musical,” which goes up at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, have been having a ball going from town to town on a reconfigured tour bus dubbed “the Puppy Palace.”

The pampered pups’ tour bus has been refitted with individual, climate-controlled sleeping compartments and fridges full of bottled water, boiled chicken breasts and organic hot dogs.

Although some, like current Cruella de Vil Sarah Gettelfinger, love the “light and energy” the dogs have brought backstage, not everyone feels the same way: “It’s like herding toddlers,” says a member of the production team. “The dogs are very temperamental.”
