Ahhh, that 70s show!

Winter is so yesterday.

The city is enjoying an end-of-season heat wave — the first stretch of sun-filled 70-degree days in months.

Forecasters said the thermometer will be in the low 70s today — not far from the 92-year-old record of 76 degrees set in 1918.

“Basically, we’re getting a nice push of warm weather from the south,” said AccuWeather meteorologist Andrew Ulrich. “It will be well above the average, which is 50 for this time of year.”

Tomorrow’s high looks to be in the 70s for the start of spring, which arrives in early afternoon, followed by near 70 on Sunday. Nighttime lows will hover around a comfortable 50.

But on Sunday, clouds will move in to remind us what time of year it is.

“There’s a winter storm moving through the Plains that will bring some wind and some rain, beginning with Monday.” Ulrich said. “But it’s going to be seasonal, what we should be seeing.”

That means highs of 55 on Monday and 50 on Tuesday, which is just about where it should be in the final days of March.
