The quiet hero retires (“Over & Out, Hero Sully,” March 4).
With his knowledge, skill, luck and perhaps some divine intervention, Capt. Chesley Sullenberger saved so many lives.
Our nation’s highest honor should be bestowed upon him as a lesson for all those clowns in Washington on how an honorable man should behave. Just think about how much better the world would be if we all followed his example.
God bless you and your family, Sully. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
