PRINCE OF THE CITI

That Harry is a real Prince.

The young British royal is taking a disabled Afghan-war soldier with him on his first official visit to the United States this week — and has arranged for the maimed hero to see a Mets game at Citi Field Saturday, The Sun newspaper of Britain reported.

Mets owner Fred Wilpon is bankrolling the trip of a lifetime for the soldier at Prince Harry’s suggestion, The Sun said.

British Marine Joe Townsend, 21, lost both legs when he stepped on a Taliban anti-tank mine 15 months ago. Harry, 24, was commanding a unit 20 miles away at the time.

On Saturday, the East Sussex Marine will be guest of honor at the Mets’ game against the Florida Marlins.

It wasn’t clear if Harry would attend, and it hasn’t been published on his official schedule.

A spokesman for the Mets said he was unaware of the arrangements.

“I have no comment on what Mr. Wilpon does privately,” he said.

But the hero Marine’s mom is overjoyed.

“Joe is really looking forward to the trip. He had no idea the prince knew about him,” Debi Hawkins said.

Harry’s schedule for his two-day visit Friday and Saturday includes the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic on Governors Island to raise cash for a Lesotho, Africa-based charity, Sentebale.

He’s also due to visit the Harlem Children’s Zone , the 9/11 memorial, and the British Garden at Hanover Square, which honors British victims of the 9/11 attacks, as well as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manhattan.
