The Jets would receive the Saints’ second-round draft pick if New Orleans signs Jonathan Vilma before free agency begins Feb. 27.
However, if the Saints do, they would owe the Giants their first-round pick (as part of the Jeremy Shockey trade).
The New Orleans Times Picayune reports this is unlikely (for obvious reasons), so the Jets will receive the Saints’ third-round pick.
