HAIL TO THE CHIEFS

Including the 1997-2006 seasons in The Post, Cat’s 12-year record in print stands at 332-270 (55.1 percent) against the spread.

THE PICK

Chiefs (+21/2) over RAIDERS: Al Davis’ kids rang up their 16th consecutive divisional loss (1-23, last 24!) Sunday when unable to hang with revitalized Chargers. Daunte Culpepper hasn’t been horrible under center for Raiduhs, but that fails to justify favoritism over divisional rival which prevailed over Silver and Black in last eight meetings. Chiefs’ offensive-line inconsistency is easier to bear vs. opponents of this caliber. Kay Cee maintains status quo against foe not ready to turn this corner. Chiefs (+21/2) whoop it up, for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 0-1-1 (minus one unit). Fading Spartans not quite such a good idea this time (Indiana, minus one unit). Vince Young’s third-quarter injury stung, but old friend Kerry Collins salvaged sister-kissing effort (Titans, push).

SEASON: 7-6-1 (plus one unit).
