KOPPEL FINALIZES FAREWELL

TED Koppel’s final broadcast on “Nightline” will be Nov. 22.

The ABC News anchor and co-creator of the telecast is leaving the network after more than 37 years.

ABC News plans to launch a new version of the show with two anchors, one in New York and another in Washington D.C.

It is believed that ABC correspondents Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and possibly Martin Bashir will be tapped to anchor the new telecast.

ABC News officials declined to comment yesterday, but said they will make announcement about of “Nightline” when they are ready.
