A housekeeper to the rich and famous pleaded not guilty yesterday in Manhattan to charges that she stole from actress Candice Bergen, actor Robert De Niro and other well-heeled clients.
Prosecutors said Lucyna Turyk-Wawrynowicz, 35, took clothes and jewelry from three clients, including a suede coat from Bergen and $95,000 earrings from De Niro’s wife, Grace Hightower.
Prosecutors said yesterday that two new alleged victims, Maysa Ashhab-Jones and Renee Rockefeller, had just come forward.
Turyk-Wawrynowicz, 35, unable to post $75,000 cash bail, is on a suicide watch.
