PBA REP SUSPENDED

A Brooklyn cop who serves on the police union’s executive board was suspended yesterday after yelling at a precinct commander over the recent transfer of six cops for purportedly not meeting ticket quotas.

Police Officer Philip Repaci, the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association’s Brooklyn North Trustee, began his rant about the transfers during a roll call at the 75th Precinct in East New York, sources said.

Insp. Michael Marino, while addressing the outgoing platoon, made a comment that set Repaci off, and Marino ordered him to leave.

Repaci, who was assigned to the Brooklyn North Narcotics Division, refused to go and was suspended, the sources said.

An NYPD spokesperson confirmed the suspension last night. A PBA spokesman did not return a call for comment.
