English: Late Middle Age drinking horn from Yläne homestead in Finland proper. The much later Scandinavian student custom of drinking mead from horns in the Old Norse way spread in the 19th century also to Finland.
Svenska: Senmedeltida dryckeshorn från Yläne gård i Egentliga Finland. Den långt senare studentskandinaviska sedvänjan att på fornnordiskt vis dricka mjöd ur horn spred sig på 1800-talet också till Finland.
