A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Ludum Dare 48 my fourth jam.  Theme is Deeper and Deeper.

WhatIt Is

This time it's a multiplayer game where players use their phones as their controllers.  The objective is to throw the ball to the goal.  Human team throw to the right, orc team to the left.

My epic failed attampt

My intepretation of the theme is that people would smash the down button and be like deeperdeeperdeeperdeeper.

How to Play

One computer is going to run the game.  The game will then host a webserver.  People use their phones to enter the LAN IP address of that computer plus the port 42069 into a browser (for example, 192.0.0.10:42069), then they get the controller webpage.  Enter the display name there.  You can use external IP if you do port forwarding and may need to deal with Windows firewall.

On the controller, the A button is for grabbing an object when you are close to it.  When holding on to an object, use the B joystick to adjust your aim.  Press and hold A to throw.  The bar on top of the controller is your oxygen bar.. you know what that means - when you see your teammate swimming to the surface for oxygen, be sure to grab them and throw them to the surface bottom of the sea.  HAHA GO DEEPER!

There is no real limit on the number of players.  Drop in anytime!

When reading the chat, I saw this:

To solve the crime, I went back a few seconds in the video..
