This was more of a test of the engine for myself than anything. It won't be having any updates as is.
If you enjoyed it, hopefully you'll be interested in the full game I'm working on. The project I'm working on is The Slums which is a full game already released. There is a sequel to it in the works.
Well. At first, i was scared. What if the game is too short ? What if the character is bad written ?
Then i discovered that those fears were wrong. This game is fantastic. I love the character, very endearing, but i feel like it can't be stopped here. I mean, we have no clue of what's going on. Am i human ? Is it normal to see a wolf with a sword in what seems like modern days ? So many questions. I'll probably never get their answers, but here i am, i loved that short game ! :D
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it. I hate to say it, but I really don't have plans for more of this particular story. It's not entirely off the table once I finish my current VN project though!
Bestieeeeee,You already know im already in love with this wolf...!I beg of you to make more :D Only if you want to though!!!Please take care of yourself first as always :))
Honestly, I love the wolf expressions you draw and the backround with riot. If you make the story in slower pace and not with a rushed actions from start, it would be an amazing VN! :) Continue please :3
I feel like there is missing details as to leading up to current events. The MC has no name or voice or species or gender. There are some grammatical errors, but to be expected for now. None of this matters though unless you wish to expand upon the storyline(s).
This seems like a golden and unique opportunity to shed light on what aimless rioters do, not caring that they actually harm the very things they may be fighting for. The fact that they are only giving plenty of more reasons for others to hate them, thus increasing the level of unhelpfulness of others. Riots happen because "they are unheard", but they don't do a damn thing to help them be heard, it causes the opposite effect. It only serves to deepen divides. It detrementalizes any sort of progress being made by those who sympathize with the Rioter's plight, but by peaceful means. Progress takes time, but torching it is up to one hundred times quicker. Working together to make change is better than trying to brute force it, violence is only ever met with violence, isn't it?
Not gonna comment on the story cus it's a test. (surely you know it'd be too fast for a normal story to go from zero to cuddling lol), but the art and writing are decent so i'd greenlight this!
Hey, I really enjoyed this little test game! Your art is really nice and I liked how expressive the sprites were. The story seems to have a lot of potential and I'm interested in seeing more- although short, I enjoyed the characterisation of the wolf. If you need any help, I know a bit of coding, and I can definitely edit/proofread the script of your potential future projects!
Thank you for the offer! I was considering making a discord for my future project stuff regarding it. I don't know if that'd be something enough people would use though
Honestly for a test this is amazing, if you decide to continue this into something more or perhaps some other project, I'm definitely up to playing, and although I have not much of a clue on how to do art or code I'd be willing to help in any way I could, (like beta testing or some kind of review) up to you though, great work. 👍 Btw do you have any public socials that I could follow you on, you seem cool.
Weirdly enough, I got interested in keep knowing about this world; you disclosed a lot of potential and caught my attention with just a few dialogues, that's truly amazing! you NEED to keep developing this story, don't pass this oportunity.
I would be glad to help you, and I'm sure a lot of people would be as well, maybe you could gather people in https://www.castingcall.club/ if you need help (and if your interested in continuing this small project, obsivously).
I give out all my blessings for this project, even if it's just a lil' test uwu
Ahhhh you're too kind!! I really do try to make the story engaging with the least amount of "fluff".
I actually took the interest in this project as a motivator to start on a bigger project similar to it. It won't necessarily be the same characters, but it'll be a similar type of theme.
Although I could keep this one on the backburner and revisit it if I ever do want to expand on it more. Thank you for the kind words again! I don't know what kind of help I could ask for honestly.
It is a test, but I can see some potentials. The test prologue seems interesting and there could be much to reveal for the sake of the plot if you're about to be serious with it. Breaking war is actually one my favorable plot since there would many reasons behind it and stories from the characters (why they got stucked in the war or some sort).
And I was wondering if you'd be delighted in small assistance :
Welp, I can help with the script such as proofreading, writing the python code (I forgot what's it called), some of the coding, I guess, share story ideas if you'd like. I'm also still learning to use renpy, actually. I'll do my best to help if you want me to.
Ah, I should tell you this too; that I have no skill in art (sorry).
even though it's something that was made, just for testing, you can see that it has a lot of potential. I think if you focused on this story it would be a lot of fun. I liked. :)Em

Thank you so much! I'm working on a bigger VN thanks to all the support and good reception this one got.
May I ask who drew this CG?
That'd be me.
I made the art for the game and that title image (the backgrounds I did not draw though, they're edited stock images)
I post my art regularly to my twitter: @Needs_Bear
Oh alright! It's really good!
Thanks so much!
Really cute Hope you extend the story :]
Thanks so much!
When is android version?
I didn't know there'd be a demand for it haha! I added it just now. Let me know if it works for you.
Tysm!! And it works just fine.
After trying the trial game. Gosh I simped hard at that wolf. I hope you'll continue developing the game ┌(┌ ^o^)┐
I have something in the works right now! I hope to have a demo out as soon as it's ready. Thank you to the kind words and support!
SAME

this is actually really good omg? the relationship was rushed but other than that i really like the wolf.
Thanks! And yeahh I honestly never expected to post it, so I really was just like "OK now they cuddle" haha
Please more, is short and it lacks many things especially because I think you did it just for proof but I think this has potential
It really was just a one-night project I did for a proof, but I'm really glad you liked it!

"I won't comment on the story" (comments on it anyways)
Nahh I'm joking x3 yeahh it was honestly a test that was not going to be posted, but some friends of mine pushed me to. I'm glad you liked it!

I think a server would be a good idea! We all start from somewhere, and it would be a great place to bounce ideas and stuff around lol
the art was great, the story is intrigues me, and yes it was very short but this would be a nice vn to play if it were to be continued.. <
Thanks! I'm not against expanding on the story, just don't have any plans on it for now
Great art :D
Thanks so much! It was actually an old drawing of mine that I just edited to work as a vn haha
bruh i was super engaged in this my brain wished for more
I'm so glad you liked it! I hope my future projects are just as engaging

That's so flattering! Thank you for all the kind words. I do have a social, I'm the same name on Twitter: @Needs_Bear.

Thank you for the interest! I really didn't expect anyone to play it, much less people wanting more. I'm definitely motivated to do more.
What kind of assistance do you have in mind?
