Jungle, techno and a journey into industrial sounds: NAINA’s 14th NAINA Presents mix is a real genre blaster. “This one is a bit mental,” says the DJ, Hooversound Recordings co-founder and Apple Music Radio host. “I’m definitely leaning into some more experimental, industrial, darker sounds on this mix, which I love, of course laced with plenty of jungle and techno.” Mani Festo’s “Bioscan” and “Ripper” earn their place alongside The Future Sound of London’s eternal crowd-pleaser “Papua New Guinea”. “It’s exciting to have new music from L-Vis 1990 and Jubilee,” says NAINA, as she brings things right up to date with “Good Vibes” and “RIGHT TURN ON RED”.
