"This is basically an adventure slash shooter game with a narrative unraveled through stages and finale. The mystery is who is Doktor Gigglesmith, whom if the play finishes the game will be rewarded with the answer. I finished it after many sessions of trying as the shooter challenge is not easy but doable.

The finale of the game as are a few sections are pretty wild and bizarre. The end game revelation is very good in terms of writing and a few tricks to survive beyond just shooter.
Some of thought and strategy or awareness is required to pass certain spot lending a slight puzzle or shooter-strategy dynamic.
Tip for C64: gaudy color palette and art style I think was intended to be trashy-punk ultra-retro and
- depending on your system emulator, you may wish choose desirable alternative color palettes
- on real C64 hardware, similarly depending on your TV or monitor, you can always adjust
- I played on real C64 NTSC and it was fine on my video. VICE emulator was a bit different.
Tips on game:
- run and gun but crawl. you get extra lives, which are key on the early Mo Dernart games I've found
- crawl, get points for extra lives. Watch out! for traps."
