Hello! I'm Mike Ren, the creator of Lucky Yu.

Lucky Yu is a meditative fishing game with a unique hand-painted Chinese black ink art style. My mother is the artist for this game and spent over a month drawing all of the things you see.

We took her hand painted art and scanned it into the game, hoping to create a unique organic feeling within the world.

This is the version of the game that premiered at Play NYC Festival in 2022.  The demo is a proof of concept for a full game. I hope to continue working on the project, but will be gauging interest via downloads and your comments/feedback!
