So many people have already left the site
Let’s admit it: Medium has changed a lot. Freelance writers making thousands of dollars in the past seem to have vanished. New content creators are trying to take their place and this will be possible only when they publish quality content and stay with the platform for many months/years.
Also, it was too easy to join the Partner Program months ago but now even a person fulfilling all requirements get rejected. We should not blame the platform because it happens everywhere. Things change when sites gain fame and begin getting more and more freelancers.
Of course, Medium cannot please everyone because the team has standards to maintain. On one hand, some writers will be happy with the money they get, and on the other hand, some content creators will want to leave the site because their stats are down and they have stopped earning decent money.
