What does general distribution look like?

Isn’t it nice to know why we are not getting the traffic we anticipated?

General distribution is the answer.

There is something called the more read you get the more views you’ll get. Which can happen with network or general distribution (GD) of traffic to an article.

But what we want to look into is the one that has a lot of views but not much read.

Take a look at what happens inside the stats of these posts. It had the quality of GD but the reading quality was not up there.

The best thing to do is to replicate your best article but what if those could have been the best or 2nd best but something was missing of it?

We just did 3 newsletters for the pub and two of them already killing it but the second one looks more like general distribution than the others.

And yes I just realized that the couple of days after I wrote the 2nd one, not what I wrote but the feature articles that are in it let me think that way.

From top to down how do you classified each article’s virtuality?

Some with a ton of engagement and others with nearly none.
