A Poem About Cosmic Potential

If I am to be a Sun,

I will burn and rage and light a way.

I will ignite and be ignited,

Until There Is Nothing Left But Ash.

If I am to be a Moon,

I will bask and gleam and orbit.

I will be your object ethereal,

To Keep Shadows From Commanding The Night.

If I am to be an Asteroid,

I will destroy.

Chaos shall be my virtue, and I will tear apart celestial stone,

So That Blooms May Again Grow.

If I am to be an Event Horizon,

I shall consume and shred and disembowel

The stars.

A void of fear, born in the unknown,

I will be your cosmic nightmare.

The edge of your darkest dreams.

Death; Life in a form unseen.

And if I Am to be a Singularity,

I will hold all impossible things.

I will be all, and nothing at all.

Entropy and Order.

Undefined.

Undeniably, Unequivocally, and Unapologetically

Free.
