A few months ago, I quit my job and plunged into the unknown.

From the outside looking in, it was the dream job. I was set. I had a great salary, great benefits. But I was unhappy. My mental health was suffering.

I wasn’t fulfilled in my “dream job” because I wasn’t doing what I wanted to do.

The problem is, I don’t even know what I do want to do. I just know it isn’t any of the jobs I’ve had so far. So I’m releasing the idea of having a “dream job” and instead I’m chasing after adventure. I’m taking the leap and doing things I’ve always wanted to do.

Because we only have one life, and I don’t intend to waste it sitting in a cubicle working a job I don’t enjoy.

It’s okay if you haven’t found the “dream job”

My whole life, I never paused to think about my talents and how I could use them to create a business of my own. I thought I had to find a job working for someone else.

I thought I’d find a fun position at a company I loved. Other people do that, so I should too, right? I figured after going from job to job, I’d eventually find one…
