Introduction

To be specific, a wonderful byproduct of consistently challenging yourself is that you can build a tolerance to discomfort. The act of engaging with new and unfamiliar territory is that you begin to learn how you would approach these circumstances as an individual. If you’re looking to succeed in certain aspects, you may even compare and measure your approach to someone who has a more experienced method and evolve from there. Either way, what may have initially seemed daunting, has now become less so with practice and familiarity.

Tolerance is then further built upon with confidence. As we acquaint ourselves with circumstances that require a more exerted effort on our part, we become at ease with taking initiative. We now know not only how we would approach a situation but also have enough experience to draw from on where we could improve; whether that be in action or mindset. Essentially, with every experience, we build on our confidence. Both in our abilities and our mindset. By undertaking challenges, we are growing as a person
