Success is for others, not for me.

My friends are settling into their lives, and my life is still stagnant.

I am not worthy of anyone’s love. That’s why people always reject or leave me.

At some point in your life, your inner critical & pessimistic voice tricks you into believing you are worthless, unlovable and incompetent, although your life does not seem as disastrous as you think.

Such monologue is a negative self-belief or talk.

The Meaning of Negative Self-belief

Negative self-belief is a stream of self-deprecating, pessimistic and highly critical beliefs and thoughts created by your unconscious mind.

Carol S. Dweck’s seminal book “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success” attributes the negative self-belief to the characteristics of a fixed mindset. According to him
